TG FIT WARRIOR INITIATIVE · A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION
STRONGER FOR DUTY. STRONGER FOR LIFE.
Free, individualized fitness and nutrition programs for the military members, veterans, and law enforcement officers who serve our communities.
TG FIT Warrior Initiative helps remove financial barriers to structured training, practical nutrition guidance, and coaching. Our goal is to help participants build strength, improve physical readiness, and develop habits that support life on and off duty.
Program placements depend on eligibility, available funding, and coaching capacity.
Serving Those Who Serve
Our mission is to change the lives of military personnel, veterans, and law enforcement officers through health and fitness.
We work to make individualized training and nutrition support accessible to people who may otherwise struggle to afford it. Every participant brings different goals, responsibilities, experience, and physical capabilities. Their program should reflect those differences.

Demanding Work Deserves Practical Support
Military service and law enforcement can involve demanding schedules, physical stress, and limited opportunities to prioritize personal health. Veterans may also need support establishing a sustainable fitness routine after service.
A generic workout plan does not always account for shift work, available equipment, current fitness, or individual limitations. Our initiative is designed to provide a clear plan that participants can use within their everyday lives.
We aim to help participants:
-
Build strength and cardiovascular endurance.
-
Improve mobility and movement quality.
-
Develop physical readiness for their responsibilities.
-
Establish practical nutrition habits.
-
Build consistency around demanding schedules.
-
Improve confidence in their physical capabilities.
-
Develop habits they can continue after the program ends.
BUILT AROUND YOUR SERVICE AND YOUR GOALS

ACTIVE-DUTY MILITARY
Individualized training and nutrition support built around current fitness, available equipment, service demands, and personal goals.

VETERANS
Structured support for rebuilding a routine, improving fitness, and pursuing long-term health and performance goals after military service.

LAW ENFORCEMENT
Training designed with shift work, occupational demands, and individual capabilities in mind, emphasizing strength, endurance, mobility, and sustainable habits.

A COMPLETE PLAN—WITH A CLEAR PURPOSE
Accepted participants receive a funded fitness and nutrition program that includes:
-
Initial goal-setting and fitness assessment.
-
An individualized 12-week training plan.
-
Progressive strength training.
-
Cardiovascular endurance and conditioning.
-
Mobility and movement work.
-
Athletic and functional performance exercises where appropriate.
-
Nutrition guidance tailored to goals, activity, and schedule.
-
Workouts delivered through the TG FIT App.
-
Progress tracking and accountability tools.
-
Coaching guidance and appropriate program adjustments.
-
Final testing to compare progress with starting measurements.
Training is adapted to the participant's experience, equipment, schedule, and reported limitations.
14 Weeks. A Clear Plan. Measurable Progress.
Participants complete an intake covering goals, service background, training experience, available equipment, schedule, and relevant limitations. Initial testing establishes a starting point using appropriate measures of strength, endurance, mobility, and other goal-specific abilities.
Participants follow a 12-week individualized training and nutrition program through the TG FIT App. Training progresses over time, with adjustments based on progress, feedback, and practical needs.
Participants repeat appropriate starting assessments, review their progress, and identify priorities for continuing their fitness routine.
Testing is selected for the individual. Participation does not guarantee a particular result or a passing score on an occupational fitness test.
Week 14 — Retest and Move Forward
Weeks 2–13 — Train and Build
Week 1 — Assess and Prepare

STRENGTH BUILT FOR DUTY

Your Schedule. Your Starting Point. Your Program.
Programs are developed with the participant's circumstances in mind, including:

-
Shift work and irregular hours.
-
Available training time.
-
Home or gym equipment.
-
Current training experience.
-
Physical readiness goals.
-
Reported limitations and medical restrictions.
-
Recovery needs.
-
Personal nutrition preferences and routines.
The goal is to create a program participants can follow consistently and build upon over time.

Fuel Your Training and Your Life
Nutrition guidance complements the training program and helps participants establish practical eating habits. Depending on individual needs, guidance may address calorie and protein targets, meal planning, hydration, food choices, and strategies for demanding work schedules.
The focus is on sustainable habits that support performance, recovery, and personal goals.
Nutrition coaching does not replace medical nutrition treatment.

Your Plan, Wherever You Train
The TG FIT App brings training, nutrition guidance, and progress tracking together in one place. Participants can access their workouts, record training progress, and use accountability tools such as habit tracking, hydration tracking, body measurements, and progress photos.
Remove the Cost. Open the Opportunity.
Our goal is to cover program costs for accepted participants through donations, grants, and sponsorships. A funded placement covers the training and nutrition program. Participants may still need access to appropriate equipment, a training location, food, and an internet-connected device.
Placements depend on available resources. If current spaces are filled, applicants may be offered a waitlist.
